The legend of a triangle romance with King Arthur, Guenevere, and Lancelot. Love makes one do ordinary and not so ordinary things but is it worth it? If you've ever been in love you know how ones ordinary senses goes completely out of the equation. Nothing else matters and your logic is nowhere to be found as one's heart leads the path one travels while eyes remain closed.

Once Upon a Mattress

Set in 15th-Century Europe, in a fictional medieval kingdom, the King and Queen are looking to find the perfect princess for their son to marry.  While searching the whole kingdom to find her, who should appear at the castle by chance but a young girl that just swam the moat to get inside.  The young prince falls in love with her much to the amazement of his parents who set up all these challenges for her to conquer.

Wizard of Oz

A tornado attacks a town in Kansas and uplifts a young girl, Dorothy into the air and lands her in a strange place called Munchkinland.  During her travels she runs into a Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Lion who need to meet the Wizard to get what they each need...and Dorothy needs to get back home.   

Note: This classic story will open CTA's upcoming season in the **New** Presidio Theater in SF starting in January 2020.

Spamalot

King Arthur is traveling around England recruiting his Knights of the Round Table. When he and his band of misfit knights finally gather in Camelot, they receive a charge from God to find the Holy Grail. The quest brings King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table to strange places and into the company of strange characters, challenging them to keep their heads on straight (yeah, right!) or die terribly weird deaths. (You will die laughing.)

Showtune

Showtune is a musical revue celebrating the words and music of Broadway composer and lyricist Jerry Herman.

The forty songs featured in Showtune come from Herman's Broadway musicals Milk and Honey (1961), Hello, Dolly! (1964), Mame (1966), Dear World (1969), Mack & Mabel (1974), The Grand Tour (1979), A Day in Hollywood / A Night in the Ukraine (1980), and La Cage aux Folles (1983).

Snow White

Jealous of Snow White's beauty, the wicked queen orders the murder of her innocent stepdaughter, but later discovers that Snow White is still alive and hiding in a cottage with seven friendly little miners. Disguising herself as a hag, the queen brings a poisoned apple to Snow White, who falls into a death-like sleep that can be broken only by a kiss from the prince.

Based on the movie of the same name, a night club singer, who’s the girl friend of the boss, sees a murder, and goes on the run, hoping not to be found.  She ends up in a convent posing as a nun. As she gets to know each nun and they get to know her, this develops into a beautiful relationship of becoming friends, and finding out so much more about oneself.

The tale plays with logic, giving the story lasting popularity with adults as well as with children. It is considered to be one of the best examples of the literary nonsense genre. Its narrative course and structure, characters and imagery have been enormously influential in both popular culture and literature, especially in the fantasy genre.

“A Chorus Line” is a story set in NYC about a group of dancers auditioning for a show. The director asks “Why do you dance?”, and we discover the inner workings of each cast member as they unfold the answer to “why”. These characters become more, and more honest as the show continues, and to the point where the audience can identify, relate, empathy, or have sympathy for each of them.

Jack in the Beanstalk
A boy from a poor family buys some magic beans from a villain who tells him the beans will grow up to the sky to a castle where a golden goose lives that makes golden eggs in exchange for his cow. He doesn't mention to the boy that she belongs to a GIANT. What follows is finding a golden egg, and the escape.

The Producers
As the clocks ring Violet, Doralee, and Judy prepare for work ("9 to 5"). The ladies begin another mundane and hellish day at work under Franklin Hart Jr, president of Consolidated Industries. Franklin Hart Jr. is a domineering and equally lecherous man, who lusts after his secretary, Doralee, and has no shame in making those feelings known. Just watch how these ladies get back at Mr. Hart as things unfold in the workplace as well as at his home.
